Home Fabulousity: Red wine beddings

Forget about anything else in the room and just for a minute focus on the color contrast of the beddings. Oh my! The deep red, white and light grey is just a genius combination. The color of the walls and floor really syncs in well with the color combination of the beddings. Not sure if I would have gone for the wooden furniture and painting with beddings of such a color scheme. Am sure the quality of the red fabric is as good as it looks in this picture. Am in love!!

Capturing memorable moments
I love weddings
and believe in having memorable moments, it’s the moments shared that makes the
day special. A few weeks ago, my business partner and I had the honor of being
part of a friend’s wedding and we provided a photo shoot session for their
wedding. I love this picture; it was a moment that was captured
before the couple actually posed for the picture – one of the coolest wedding
pictures ever!! Truth be told, we had so much drama going on before the shoot
and others thought it would not be possible. We worked our socks off and here
we are!! I made some props that had not
too serious words on them, like “I got moves like jagger “. We had very little
time take the pictures, but we sure had a hell of fun. Many thanks the bridal
team – so much fun to work with and of course man behind the camera, top
class!!

Cant get enough of the stacked wrist trend. Its one of the hottest trend this season. The good thing about this trend is that its easy to pull off, anyone can do it. You can throw in all sorts of bracelets to create a bold look. I love it when a watch is added to the look. A bit tricky though if you are adding a watch, if the face of the watch is not large ... it gets buried beneath the rest of the bracelets. A watch may seem outdated to be part of the current trends, but it sure adds some character to this look. Now, the next time you are accessorizing that wrist; try layering it with a number of bracelets and maybe a watch!

Home fabulousity: Something different - Nesting deer bowls

Imagine getting served soup from a nesting deer shaped bowl for the first time :) Am sure many of you would have mixed reactions; eyes popping out, jaw dropping and probably a few shocking loud remarks! The first I laid my eyes on them, I was like "What the hell?” Surprisingly they have grown on me and the more I look at these bowls the more I like them. So unique and definitely will leave a lasting impression on you. I think the shape could be easily mistaken for a large soup dishing spoon :) The fact that they are made of wood adds an edge to the whole idea and looks out of this world!

Lake of stars fever ...

Home Fabulousity: Fancy embroidered bed linen?

Old school babies like myself grew up in households where Mommy's one too many hobbies was fabric embroidery for sofa covers - the arm rest, head rest and etc. I grew up in the 80's where it was very common for women to do their own embroidery. Unfortunately I never had the chance of learning how to, as simple as it looked; it sure required/s patience. Most commonly at the time were just sofa covers but now we have a range of beautiful embroidered linen. Come across this on Apartment Therapy, well stitched and am sure it took a lot of patience to complete the whole set. I love these covers; the wool used for stitching is a nice shade of blue against the white.

Bags, bags! Ladies, am sure most of you can agree with me that no matter how great our handbag collection is we always want more! There is something about a handbag that we ladies feel so attached to it ... maybe because it protects and covers our little something’s ?? Nevertheless, I adore this Miranda leather extra small tote by Michael Kors. It has a shoulder strap, protective metal feet and a few metals on the decorative front straps. I love the black and gold contrast, so chic! Michael Kors is one of the top designers in the world and if you watch Project Runway then you can agree that his knowledge, attention to detail, contribution to the panel proves a great designer he is.
I think this is one hell of a sexy bag. What do you think?
